Where is V5?

Hello,
I am facing problems switching from one Arduino platform to other. The issue was reported by other user here...

And fixed in V5 here...

However I cannot find V5 as a Released version.
Can anyone help me finding out where Sloeber V5 is or when it will be released?
If not available, how can I update my Sloeber installation with this fix? Is it possible to include it in a new V4 release?

That is because it is not yet released.
The main reason it is not yet released is because the projects need to be upgraded and that code is still buggy/incomplete.
I'm not even sure that your problem will be fixed in V5 (depends on what you mean by boards change)

with board change I mean that I pretend to have a project suitable to two Arduino boards: Mega and R4 Wifi. When I change the active build configuration from Mega to R4 Wifi, it still points to the AVR version of libraries like EPROOM or Wire. Despite unchecking and checking again the libraries and pressing reattaching libraries, the link to the former AVR version remains.
I think this is the issue and fix associated to the reported issue here (#1679)

Not really
But in V5 the libraries are per configuration.
This means you could make a a mega config and a R4 config after both of them point to the correct libraries you can switch configurations instead of switching board in a config (which will still have the issue).
