Summary

replace the monolithic Swing implementation with a Maven-based MVC structure
add a modern main menu with start/option/info, round popups, theme selection, and persistent high scores
introduce documentation updates, JUnit tests, and a cleaned project layout

Testing

mvn -q test (fails: requires downloading org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-resources-plugin:3.3.1 which is blocked in the execution environment)
