How to Use RemoteJoy Config

  1. Turn on the Pico 2 W, then press and hold the BOOTSEL button for about 1.5 seconds.

  2. On your smartphone or PC, connect to the Wi-Fi network with the SSID RemoteJoy-Config.
If prompted for a password, enter the default password: remotejoy.

  3. Once connected, the configuration page should open automatically.
If it does not, open http://192.168.4.1 in a web browser.

  1. When you have finished configuring the mappings, click Save settings.

  1. To pair a DualShock 3, select DualShock 3 mode, then click Finish setup.
Open the configuration page again and pair the DualShock 3 using the appropriate pairing button.
Before pairing, you must register the Pico 2 W's Bluetooth address with the DualShock 3. The address to register is shown as Bluetooth address under Device information on the configuration page.
For instructions on registering the address, see the Bluepad32 documentation.
Keep DualShock 3 mode (applies after restart) selected whenever you use a DualShock 3. Clear this option before pairing a controller other than a DualShock 3.

  1. When playing a POPS title while a registered 2P controller is disconnected, the Pico 2 W continues scanning for that controller. This may increase input latency for the 1P controller.
Clear Enable 2P to disable the 2P controller without deleting its pairing information. This stops the scan and prevents the additional latency.

  1. You can change the password used to connect to the RemoteJoy-Config Wi-Fi network in setup mode.
After changing the password, delete the saved network information for RemoteJoy-Config from your smartphone or PC, then reconnect using the new password.
If you forget the password, press and hold the BOOTSEL button for at least six seconds to reset it.
