Bug: Cannot edit/open files

Setup: Void Linux, x86_64, glibc

So I built the program from source, first error was that it didn't create the default config file, without which it wouldn't launch, somebody already created an issue for that, not a biggie, however, I can't edit/open any notes I create, including the ones created for the daily journal, task list works fine although. I have attached the image of the issue, this makes the program unusable which is a real shame because it seems really promising to me, will give it another shot after this is resolved :)

Ahh, Do you have nvim installed?
The default editor is nvim.

Yes, since I already had a config file, I missed the bug, that config file was not created,
Will be fixed at the earliest

I am using helix and I had already set the editor to hx, although I checked again and the config was completely empty now. Re-set it to "hx" and its working-ish, it will still show that couldn't open file error after I save and quit helix, which, to fix I have to move away and then back again to the file I wanna preview.

Thanks for the assistance, this is much more workable but would love to see this resolved too :)

So, apparently, Helix requires a TTY to spawn, and to emulate that

I would need to modify the config file, to include [] string so that you could do

editor = ["alacritty", "-e", "bash", "-c", "hx"]

To make it work

and just now made a new release update your app and lmk
