SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED

I upgraded my install to 1.3.1, restarted HA, upgraded to 2.0.5, restarted HA, entered my local access passcode and saw it correctly authenticated.

However right after that it went to an error state with the following message:

Failed setup, will retry: Failed to connect to SPAN panel: Cannot connect to MQTT broker at <Panel's_ip>:8883: [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: IP address mismatch, certificate is not valid for '<Panel's_ip>'. (_ssl.c:1081)

Did I miss a step somewhere?

I think there was a problem with the underlying Panel MQQT API that had to do with WiFi and Ethernet being connected at the same time. That issue was related to the IP certificate registering the wrong IP address. This issue was not made public AFAIK. There will be a fix in some future firmware release.

If you have both WiFi and Ethernet connected and you have a way to disconnect WiFi through your router, you can try that. If you know the Panel Ethernet IP ensure the integration uses that IP to connect. You can even add that IP manually instead of through discovery (remove the current config first).
