Can you add syntax highlighting for VimScript?

It’s ironic, but I use ecode to edit my .vimrc and other .vim files. I’m not a heavy Vim user. I only learned it to edit files on a remote server. You don’t know how much effort is needed to install plugins and configure Vim to get features that are available out of the box in ecode.

You already support Emacs Lisp with the .el file extension. I can confirm this. My init.el has syntax highlighting.

OK. Emacs Lisp is just another dialect of Lisp. VimScript is a DSL designed just for Vim itself.

I will edit my .vimrc and other *.vim files with ... nano. I installed the syntax highlighting package for nano.

Vim Language support has been added. It was possible to just directly convert the vscode TextMate grammar.
