That tooltip just wouldn’t want to go away!

In Ctrl+F, I turned on Use escape sequences to do my tasks, then I turned it off. I closed Ctrl+F with the X button. However, this time, for unknown reasons, the tooltip didn’t agree to auto-disappear. It stayed there with Replace \\, ... (Ctrl+E displayed on top of all other elements and refused to go away. Ctrl+F also became inaccessible. I tried opening a new window, and that window successfully got rid of the tooltip. Then I closed the problematic window.

That was the whole story. Pretty boring, wasn’t it?

Yeah, it's very rare but can happen, not sure how to reproduce it though, but it's fixable by changing a few things, never gave it enough attention.
