Windows 0.8.1 crash on startup #953

I found the root cause of the issue. The path to the software contained Chinese characters, which caused the problem. I have resolved it now. |

I would like to report an error I encountered while trying to run ecode on Windows.

Here are the steps I took:
Downloaded the file: ecode-windows-0.8.1-x86_64.zip
Extracted the archive
Double-clicked ecode.exe to run it
However, the program crashes immediately with an error. I also tried running it as an administrator, but the same issue persists.
