Hi.

Is it possible to run this project on the server side and work on the client side?

what do you mean ? like using a GPU which is not local for rednering the videos ?

I have my own server with 2 CPUs, 12 cores each, for a total of 24 cores and 256 GB of RAM. I want to run this project on my server, and I access it through my laptop. I want to use my own server resources, not my laptop resources. Just access this on a laptop browser but it uses server resources. Best example wevideo.

I don't think there's a client server approach yet but something like that could be used to clone any interactions and clone the mouse activities and real-time collaboration.

Or you could run the software in a docker container and use something like VNC to work on your server from your laptop.

but to be clear: as i understand it, we have 2 systems, each with same footage and content. but the one machine is mirroring waht the other does. so we jsut send cotnroll singlas through whatever protocol.

If 1 system with dual CPU socket ( 2 physical CPU sockets) is considered as 1 system, and if 2 systems with dual CPU socket ( 2 physical CPU sockets) are considered as 2 physical systems with 4 physical CPU sockets on each dual CPU socket motherboard. Please search Google for " dual CPU socket motherboard."

The 2nd system works as a load balancer. If 1st system uses 100% resource utilization ( like CPU, RAM, graphics card ), then 2nd system starts working. In simple words, work is divided into 2 systems. If one of these system resources is full, or if 1st system is down, then the 2nd system works as a backup system or vice versa.
