[Feature] Millennium Solus Linux Support

Describe the Bug

Brand new, freshly installed Solus Linux. Unable to load either of the two mentioned versions. Have tried running through terminal as steam and steam -dev. Currently unable to run through desktop shortcut due to bug in Budgie variant of Solus Linux, that is being tracked.

I have tried copying, at separate times, the internals of the zip files to their respective folders. Hasn't yielded results as of yet.

Can this be looked at?

Expected Behavior

1. Run curl -fsSL "https://steambrew.app/install.sh" | bash, with or without --beta argument
2. (Re)Start steam as needed
3. It should load as part of menu.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Be using up to date Solus Linux
2. Run curl -fsSL "https://steambrew.app/install.sh" | bash, with or without --beta argument
3. (Re)Start steam as needed
4. Run either steam or steam -dev in the terminal
5. See that it Millennium does not load.

You've provided no logs or any context. Being "unable to load" it provides me nothing to work with. I'm not a genie lol.

Looks like it isn't even installing it? Am I understanding that correctly?

Did you download any plugins? Noticed with some very recent plugins Millennium does not activate even though it is properly installed.

I have not downloaded any plugins, yet, as Millennium hasn't even installed itself using the install.sh script.

What is the correct way to install manually, to rule that out?

EDIT:

Manually downloading the tar.gz, extracted it, copied the folders to /usr/lib and /usr/share, ran the install.sh command. Now the Millennium pop-up, pops up.

EDIT 2:

On restart of applying Fluenty Theme, on the first run afterwards, causes Millennium to not apply. After closing and restarting, causes Steam to not run. Running the steam command, with or without the -dev flag via terminal give no error or feedback what so ever.

EDIT 3:

Removing the Millennium-installed Folders from /usr/lib, /usr/share and /opt/, deleting the ~/.steam folder, and fully reinstalling steam allows steam to be run again.

Seems like running on Linux is a bit buggy atm.

Try the latest beta. curl -fsSL "https://steambrew.app/install.sh" | bash -s -- --beta

Still had to extract both the 2.35 and 3.0beta files into separate files, and then manually copy the files across, then run the curl -fsSL "https://steambrew.app/install.sh" | bash -s -- --beta command. Still wont launch.

Not sure what is going on.

I'm also having this problem on arch linux. I did a full reinstall of steam and millenium with the 3.0 neta (aur), there are 0 pluguins and themes loading (as per terminal output) but it just hangs affter trying to load the locale. uninstalling millenium fixes it and steam opens again.

Same problem here on Artix Linux. Install script does not seem to install despite saying "You can now start Steam." and the AUR refuses to compile giving a CMake error.
