Update package version from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 in CITATION.cff and DESCRIPTION. Also update the Date in DESCRIPTION to 2026-02-26 to reflect the new release.
Clarify README examples by moving plot legends below panels (append [[1]] + ggplot2::theme(legend.position = "bottom")), emphasize use of distinct symbols, and add notes about grouping behavior for situation_group. Bump citation year and package version (2025 -> 2026, 0.11.0 -> 1.0.1) and refresh example output. Regenerate example data (inst/extdata/readme_sim_obs_example.RData) and update all related README figures in man/figures.
