The timertt (Timer Thread Template) library was created as a lightweight alternative of ACE Framework's timers for SObjectizer. The main goals of timertt development were simplicity and absence of external dependencies.

The timertt is built as a self-contained reusable library. That's why timertt can be used not only in SObjectizer but as a separate tool as well. Regardless of timertt active usage inside SObjectizer, the timertt's code tarballs and documentation are provided independently.

The timertt is distributed under 3-clauses BSD license.
