This was still using font icons and the size wasn't really consistent with the same input for searching entries.

Walkthrough

The implementation of the show_search_box method in FrmAppHelper.php was updated to replace a static HTML span for the search icon with a dynamic call to the icon_by_class function, utilizing a specific class string for icon rendering. No public API or signature changes were made.

1581-1583: LGTM! Good modernization of icon rendering.

The change from static HTML to the dynamic icon_by_class method is a solid improvement that:

  • Provides consistent icon handling across the codebase
  • Supports both SVG and font icon fallbacks
  • Includes proper sanitization via the kses_icon method
  • Updates to the newer icon class naming convention
