Plugin failes to load

Starting a few days ago, the plugin no longer loads when I open StreamController. Reinstalling StreamController and the plugin didn't help.

Idk how much this plugin is maintained, but I'm planning to look into this soon, so I'll post what I find here.

Fixed by editing ~/.var/app/com.core447.StreamController/data/plugins/com_core447_MediaPlugin/main.py and changing the settings module import from

from settings import...

to

from .settings import...

This doesn't seem like the right fix, this sounds more like something broke on your configuration. Can you provide logs from ~/.var/app/com.core447.StreamController/data/logs/logs.log in a state where the plugin is broken so we can understand what's broken?

Here's the log file. The only line I see that relates to this plugin is the same line I shared in the original post, but I might be missing something. If I had to guess, the name settings may conflict with something that already exists, hence why it works when you add a dot to specify the same directory. I've always found python imports to be annoying to work with, so I wouldn't be surprised if a "settings" package popped up out of nowhere and broke everything.

This log doesn't show the plugin failing to load, it just shows the plugin never even trying to load. Can you run the following from a terminal, it will give us more verbose logging:

flatpak run com.core447.StreamController 2>&1 | tee ~/StreamController.log

Verify the plugin fails to load, and then upload the StreamController.log file from your home folder
