Fast, cross-platform disk-usage browser, with direct NTFS Master File Table scanning on Windows. Free Software from Struis ICT.

ClutterCutter shows you what's eating your disk in seconds. On Windows NTFS drives it reads the Master File Table directly instead of walking the filesystem, so a full drive of a couple of million files scans in a few seconds. Results appear in a clean, modern UI: a drives sidebar, a sortable table with "% of parent" and free-space bars, a clickable breadcrumb, a live search box, and side-panel views for the biggest, oldest, and safe-to-delete files. A themed Settings page lets you pick your defaults — theme, size units, and which columns to show.

ClutterCutter runs on both Windows and Linux. The Windows build is the native Win32 GUI and ships as a single self-contained ClutterCutter.exe — no installer, no runtime. As of 0.11.0 there's also a ClutterCutter.msi installer for admins who need to deploy across a fleet (GPO / SCCM / Intune) — see Installation → Enterprise / network deployment; individual users don't need it. The Linux build is a portable eframe/egui frontend that shares the same Rust scan engine and the same features; you extract the tarball and run it. (macOS builds from source.) The cross-platform (egui) build also got a UI polish pass in 0.11.0 that brings it closer to the native Windows app.
