Oh wow. Didn’t even know that was there. Is that new? I’ve been using this app for a few months. Thanks

Yeah, it's fairly new on the stable builds. The pin feature landed upstream around April 19 (PR #145), so if you set the app up before then you'd have had no real reason to spot it. Quick rundown in case it helps: in the web UI it's under Settings (search "pin" like you found, or the Pinned Media card). Pin a show or movie and PlexCache keeps it on the cache and won't evict it, so your rewatch stuff like The Office or Friends just stays put and the disks don't spin up for it. There's a CLI option for it too if you run it that way. |

Oh awesome. One you set up the app it kinda just runs so you never really notice the new features. Would you be able to pin a playlist?

Some ideas I thought of...
Would be cool if there was a way to pin a show to the cache. Something people rewatch over and over like The Office or Friends, also kind of paired with that would be to monitor a playlist and cache episodes on that. I have a random playlist of rewatch tv show I put on before bed so would be cool to not have to spin up disks every night. It's a smart playlist where only episodes of some shows I haven't watched in 4 months get added to playlist. Just some ideas. not sure if its possible or how much work it'd be. thanks
