Bug: "subl" command makes SublimeText3 freeze on Ubuntu Gnome

I'm using ST3 build 3114 on Ubuntu Gnome with Gnome3 environment.

I recently noticed, that sometimes when I try to open a file from terminal using subl <filename> command, whole Sublime window freezes.

It is responsive, in a sense that I can kill tabs, and a dialog box asking me if I wan't to save the file pops - but I can't actually see any tab getting closed, and I can't see the text that I'm typing. Just a frozen screenshot of what ST3 window looked like before I typed the command in the terminal.

It happens ~1/3 of a time. Don't know if it is because of Gnome3 - could be.

Try if resizing the window helps.

It is kinda hard to reproduce it. I'll post when I'll get the results.

Yes, resizing the window fixes the problem. The window unfreezes.

Manjaro deepin here, sometimes (25%) this happen.
Possible trigger: "open sublime" >> alt+tab >> (sublime loading on background) >> alt+tab to subl >> subl freeze and need to resize.
