Submitty Forum erases the message when Markdown is toggled.

When I respond to a message on the Submitty Forum and use Markdown, no markdown contents is rendered, even though it is turned on:

See above that Markdown with the link is showing as simple text.

When I go to edit the message, and toggle the Markdown button, my entire message is erased. It is very annoying since if I didn't copy it to clipboard, it is gone for good:

If I don't toggle the Markdown button, the Markdown contents would still not be rendered despite the Markdown button being active.
