I recently was diagnosing an issue where by the D-CINEMA SMPTE XML/PNG 2014 captions exported from SE would work without issue in EasyDCP but not appear in Transkoder (the industry standard for DCP authoring).
The issue was that the generated PNGs had the .PNG file extension and the XML just had the UUID.
The solve was to either add the extension in the XML or remove the extension in the generated PNGs.
Can there be an option to decide if the user wants to have the extension added or not or at least be the same?
