I use Subtitle Edit's batch converter UI by launching it directly with this Windows shortcut:
"C:\Program Files\Subtitle Edit\SubtitleEdit.exe" /batchconvertui
This works great, but every time I restart Windows, Subtitle Edit forgets my batch converter preferences (output folder, output format, and format-specific export settings), forcing me to reconfigure everything manually.
Ideally, Subtitle Edit would remember all batch converter settings between sessions, including:
- Output folder path
- Selected output format (Example: Plaintext)
- Format-specific export settings (like Plain text options)
- Any other convert options I've configured
This would make /batchconvertui usable as a repeatable workflow without needing to reconfigure everything after every Windows restart.

Question
Is there a way to make Subtitle Edit persist these batch converter settings? Or should this be a feature request to add that persistence?
