Subtitle shift within the video frame

Hello, 1st of all, Subtitle edit is fantastic software, I am very happy that I found it by coincidence. Great job! Thanks.

The only thing I haven't found is how to move the subtitles higher within the video. I only found an option to align them to the right before rendering. I need to be able to shift the subtitles up within the frame.

Is there such an option available, and if not, could it be added?

You could change the subtitle type to .ass (Advanced Sub Station Alpha). This type supports positioning subtitles freely.
Click on the format button and select ".ass". Afterwards a blue "A" will appear next to the format field.
In the new window you can set the position as you desire.
