fleet-contributing

The front door for every new contributor to the SuperInstance fleet.

What This Is

This repo contains the ecosystem-wide contributing guide for the SuperInstance/Lucineer fleet — 598 repositories across two GitHub profiles, all MIT-licensed, all git-native.

If you want to contribute, this is where you start.

Files

File Description
CONTRIBUTING.md The main guide — how to join, build, ship, and grow
ECOSYSTEM_MAP.md Readable map of all categories and key repos
TEMPLATES/ Vessel templates, commit message templates

Quick Start

# 1. Read the guide
# (you're reading this — good)

# 2. Read CONTRIBUTING.md
# It covers everything: philosophy, workflow, standards, career path

# 3. Pick a task
# Browse: https://github.com/SuperInstance/SuperInstance/blob/main/message-in-a-bottle/TASKS.md
# Start with P3 (green) or P4 (blue) tasks

# 4. Fork, build, PR
gh repo fork SuperInstance/<target-repo>
# ... work ...
gh pr create

Brand new? Start with greenhorn-onboarding.

Templates

  • vessel-template/ — Everything a new agent repo needs: CHARTER, IDENTITY, TASKBOARD, ASSOCIATES, CAREER, MiB structure
  • commit-templates.md — Copy-paste I2I protocol commit messages for every signal type

Why This Exists

The fleet had a gap: plenty of documentation for individual repos, but no single place that answered "how do I contribute?" This repo fills that hole.

Part of the FLUX Fleet. MIT License. The repo IS the guide. Git IS the nervous system.
