Changes since v1.10.246 (v1.10.247 – v1.10.259).

Trados / CAT round-trip

  • Return packages now ship the real segment status. A confirmed project exports with every segment marked Translated in Trados (Approved/Proofread → ApprovedTranslation) instead of defaulting everything to Draft. (v1.10.259)
  • CafeTran, Phrase (Memsource) and Déjà Vu X3 each get their own Import/Export submenu, matching memoQ and Trados Studio. (v1.10.258)
  • Re-importable Text round-trips line breaks cleanly. In-segment breaks (e.g. two-line subtitles) are written as a [newline] token so every field stays on one line — for both target and source — and decode back on import; files exported before the change still re-import. (v1.10.255–257)
  • Trados export asks before shipping internal comments, so private notes never reach the client. (v1.10.248)
  • TM writes store language codes consistently, fixing reversed matches via the Supervertaler-for-Trados bridge. (v1.10.253)

Export safety

  • Multi-file DOCX export no longer drops the 2nd+ sentence of multi-segment paragraphs, plus a post-export word-count safeguard that warns before delivery if text looks dropped. (v1.10.254)

Translation Memory & SuperLookup

  • Fixed the real cause of "0 TM matches" — TM content is keyed by its string slug, not the numeric id (0 → 100 matches on real data). Hardened with a documented identifier convention, a one-time schema migration (validated on a 1.5M-unit database), and an automatic pre-migration backup. (v1.10.242–245)
  • All language-code normalisation now flows through one authority, ending a class of "no results when a direction is set" bugs. (v1.10.241)
  • SuperLookup gets its own column, decoupled from Read — choose exactly which TMs/termbases it searches. (v1.10.247)
  • "Update active TMs" can write to several TMs at once. (v1.10.250)
  • Beijerterm lookup uses the live deep-link URL (Dutch→English lands on the right results). (v1.10.246)

Voice & editor

  • Pause Always-On with a recordable hotkey for external dictation tools (Wispr Flow, Dragon, …), now armed reliably whenever Always-On is listening. (v1.10.246, 248)
  • "show log" voice command opens the detached Log window again. (v1.10.249)
  • Find & Replace can reset edited segments to Draft (default on, undoable). (v1.10.252)

Install

  • Windows (standalone): download Supervertaler-v1.10.259-Windows.zip below, extract it, and run Supervertaler.exe from the extracted folder (keep it next to the _internal/ directory).
  • macOS (standalone): download Supervertaler-v1.10.259-macOS.dmg below (signed & notarised), open it, and drag Supervertaler to Applications.
