Installation: Server
Note: This guide is about installing the upcoming 1.6.0 version of the modpack. For the released 1.5.4 version, please see README.md
In order to play with this modpack, someone in your group will need to set up a server and add the modpack to it. This process has a small amount of additional work compared to a basic pack, but this page will walk you through the process. This assumes that you have already set up a regular Minecraft server.
Note: Many server providers have built-in modpack installers. If so, you can use that to install the modpack and skip straight to Configuring Simple Voice Chat.
First off, you'll need to install the latest compatible version of Fabric. To get Fabric, you can head over to their website and download the Server Launcher. Specifically, you'll want the latest version for Minecraft 1.21.11. Run that launcher once to create all the necessary files. The folder you've done this in is now your server folder.
Now that you've got Fabric installed, you can move on to the pack itself. Get the latest pack from the Modrinth page and install it with your launcher of choice. Open your instance folder and copy the following folders into your server folder:
- config
- datapacks
- mods
- resources
- saves
- scripts
- world
In addition to the regular setup, you'll need to set up the SimpleVoiceChat mod on your server. The mod is already installed, just needs a bit of configuration. Thankfully, the SVC developer has already made a guide on how to do that, whether you're self-hosting or using a server provider, which you can find on their website!
