v0.1.7 Release Notes

New Features

  • ExecutableBase: Base class for all executables. It can export executable's config (like namelist) to a dict, load config from a dict, prepare input and output files.
  • WRFRunConfig now has all functionalities of WRFRunNamelist and WRFRunContants.
  • All the old WRF interface function have been implemented with ExecutableBase.
  • Replay: wrfrun now can record all the simulation progress and generate a replay file, which contains all the config and data (optional). With the replay file you can re-simulate the same case with wrfrun.
  • wrfrun's config file has been migrated to TOML.
  • Fake simulation mode: In this mode the numerical model won't be called, and files won't be processed.
  • VtableFiles: A dataclass represents Vtable files in WRF. (#2)
