Maybe I found a Solution, how it could easy be fix. In Moment it give's that workaround with nudge notes. Perfectly descriped in that video> https://youtu.be/aGQvdB0zAMQ?is=JWxqhYGpwi5B25OX My idea is to decouple the note nudge function from the visual grid display and instead integrate it into a separate display/function within the Song/Clip Player view, as an additional nudge function. This would allow users to still precisely position notes on the grid, maintaining an overview, but also enable them to adjust the timing of the notes for each instrument, and thus the instrument itself. The only remaining issue is when the instrument has notes on the downbeat (the "one") that are the same. These notes would be pushed back into the loop when the nudge function is advanced. My workaround would be to consider a drum kit on the Deluge and the need to adjust a MIDI device with a 4ms latency. Instead of advancing the MIDI device, I would shift the drum kit on the Deluge back by 4ms (using corresponding note nudges at the appropriate resolution) so that the drum kit sounds later than the MIDI notes, but is then synchronized. The advantage would be faster and more efficient editing of the timing of an entire clip, which could then be copied using this setting. Improved overview, as the notes in the clip are still aligned to the exact grid. Better editing afterwards, if you want to add more notes to the clip as a variation to the original clip. The MIDI device with the worst/highest latency would essentially be at the one, and the rest could have a graduated MIDI delay, ensuring perfect timing. |

external hardware have some different latency from incoming midi notes until sound come out. For that it gives midi track delay +/- in milliseconds to bring all device in a good beat match together.
