'DARKEN SHIP' MODE

There could be a setting where after a user-determined timespan (30 seconds to 5 or more minutes) of no editing/button/knob activity that all non-essential lights either dim or turn off completely until editing/knob/button activity wakes it up again.
If the machine is playing, the play light would stay on, for instance while the screen, grid and all other lights turn off until the end of the song is reached OR knob-tweaking/editing ensues.
