TcNo Account Switcher swaps local login state for Steam, Battle.net, Epic Games, Discord, EA, Riot, Ubisoft, and other clients listed in Platform info.
- Account switching moves files, registry values, and local token data that your launchers already use. No password is involved.
- The optional Steam Guard feature does take a Steam password, because Steam's sign-in needs one. It is encrypted with a key from Steam, sent to Steam, and never written to disk. What is stored is the session Steam issues in return, in an encrypted vault.
- Account cache files stay in your user data folder unless you share them or other software reads them.
- Optional statistics, crash reports, platform catalog updates, and Discord Rich Presence make network requests only when enabled or required for that feature.
- The project is open source. You can build it yourself instead of using Releases.
See FAQ details and the Privacy Policy.
Default Windows path: %AppData%\TcNo Account Switcher.
Portable mode uses {install folder}\TcNo Account Switcher\ when that folder exists. You can also set a custom path in Settings -> System -> User data location.
LoginCache stores account switch data:
- Swapped files, folders, registry exports, and file fragments.
-
ids.jsonfor account names, tags, and last-used data. -
order.jsonfor account order.
Path shape:
{UserData}/LoginCache/{PlatformName}/{accountId}/
Treat LoginCache like browser cookies or launcher session files. Do not upload it publicly.
- Download
TcNo.Account.Switcher.Installer...exefrom Releases. - Run the installer.
- Launch
TcNo-Acc-Switcher.exe.
- Download the
.7zor.zipfrom Releases. - Extract all files to a folder you will keep.
- Run
TcNo-Acc-Switcher.exe. - For portable user data, create
{install folder}\TcNo Account Switcher\or set a custom path in Settings.
Windows needs WebView2 Evergreen Runtime if it is not already installed.
The current app is a native Go + Wails build. It does not need .NET or _FIRST_RUN.exe.
Linux and macOS builds are for development. Account switching targets Windows game clients because most paths and registry entries in Platforms.json are Windows-specific.
- Pick a platform from the home screen.
- Double-click an account, click Login, or choose Swap to account from the right-click menu.
- The app closes the launcher if needed, swaps local login state, and restarts the launcher.
Steam and Battle.net can auto-detect accounts from launcher data. Most other platforms need Add New -> sign in -> Save Current.
Use Add New instead of the launcher's sign-out button. Signing out often invalidates the tokens the switcher needs.
Guides:
Right-click an account and choose Forget.
For templated platforms, this removes the cached switcher entry. It does not delete the real service account. For Steam, Forget also removes the entry from loginusers.vdf, which can affect Big Picture until you sign in again.
Forgotten accounts can be restored from platform Settings -> Tools when backups exist.
