Objective

Implementing left over computer architecture concepts covered in Units 1-4 of the syllabus. This issue focuses visualizations of circuits that are not part of the core Mano Machine.

Documentation & Standards

Strict adherence to the Morris Mano textbook references.

  • Naming Convention: Try to name the circuit files matching the figure titles in the Mano textbook
  • Flow Charts: Design the circuits so their layout visually mimics the algorithmic flow charts provided in the book.
  • Reference Imagery: Include the corresponding flow charts and block diagrams. (Requirement: Must be crisp screenshots from a digital PDF copy, absolutely no camera pictures of physical book pages).
  • Don't Clog README

Implementing Circuits Like:

  • Multiplication of signed and unsigned numbers.
  • Division of signed and unsigned numbers.
  • IEEE 754 Floating-Point representation circuit.
  • Floating-Point arithmetic operations.
  • PLA (Programmable Logic Array) Controller.
  • Microprogram Sequencer.
  • Arithmetic Pipeline implementation/visualization.
  • Instruction Pipeline implementation/visualization.
  • Always welcomed to do more.
