Details pane does NOT show anything when a record is clicked on via the mouse

What happened?

On a PostgreSQL table of records, selecting a single record by clicking on it with a mouse does NOT result in the appearance of its details in the Details pane.

Alternative is to use keyboard's up and down keys to trigger the display
