Summary

remove the tracked .DS_Store file from the repo index
keep .DS_Store ignored locally through the existing .gitignore rule
reduce the chance of Finder metadata making main look dirty again

Validation

git push pre-push guardrail (lint + pytest -m "not integration")
confirmed .DS_Store remains present locally and ignored after git rm --cached
