Losing entire library and all settings on update?

Is there something I'm doing wrong here? I'm on CachyOS and Tauon (9.1.3) is literally the only music player I've found that makes me want to use it. So far, I'm loving it as it is the closest I've seen to how I had MusicBee setup in Windows. My main issue though is that when Tauon updates, I lose everything. I have to rescan my music (takes quite awhile with 60K+ tracks) and I have to redo all my settings. Is this expected behaviour when updating? Obviously this isn't exactly the end of the world, but it's pretty annoying nonetheless.

I don't remember that I had this even once.
Is it flatpak version or repo version?
Try to backup tauon settings next time before update.

Repo version installed through paru: tauon-music-box 9.1.3-2.1

I'm pretty new to Cachy, but what I understand is that the cachyOS repos are just optimized versions of the Arch repos?

Its not expected. Are you able to reliably reproduce this? Either by re-installing the package or manually downgrading then upgrading? If so could you capture a log when it updates and loses data (you can run tauon from terminal)

Well of course, now it's fine. I downgraded to 9.0.0 then upgraded back to 9.1.3 and everything is still there. Here's the log from opening it though:
