Radio Output 0.2.0-beta1 is out — try it, tell me what breaks

This is the first public beta of Radio Output — an OBS plugin that streams your audio straight to Icecast/SHOUTcast, so you don't need BUTT or any other app running alongside OBS.

Where it stands: macOS and Linux are ready to broadcast. The Windows build loads in OBS but streaming isn't wired up yet (libshout under MSVC — that's the big remaining piece). The macOS installer is signed and notarized, so it goes in clean with no Gatekeeper warnings.

Grab it: 0.2.0-beta1 release
Set it up: User Guide — install → Tools → Radio Output… → Start.

This thread is for impressions — what felt rough, what you expected to be there and wasn't, whether the setup made sense. General feedback, not triage.

Found an actual bug? File it on the issue tracker instead — include your OBS version, OS, server type, and a snippet from Help → Log Files → View Current Log. Keeps the signal out of the noise.

0.2.0-beta2 is up — and Windows can finally stream 🎙️

This is the big one for Windows. The plugin now builds the full streaming stack there — libshout with TLS, plus MP3, Opus, and Vorbis. It's the first Windows build that can actually broadcast… which also means it hasn't been proven against a real server yet. That's where you come in.

I'm specifically after Windows testers. If you run OBS on Windows and have an Icecast or SHOUTcast server you can point at (your BUTT credentials work as-is), I'd love you to put it through its paces.

Install (Windows):

1. Grab obs-radio-output-0.2.0-beta2-windows-x64.zip from the release: https://github.com/Tech-Noid-Systems/obs-radio-output/releases/tag/0.2.0-beta2
2. Close OBS. Extract it and copy the obs-radio-output folder into %APPDATA%\obs-studio\plugins\ (paste that into Explorer's address bar). SmartScreen may warn "unknown publisher" — the Windows build isn't code-signed yet, so that's expected.
3. Launch OBS → Help → Log Files → View Current Log → look for [obs-radio-output] plugin loaded successfully.

(macOS: open the signed + notarized .pkg. Linux: sudo apt install ./*.deb.)

What to try:

• Tools → Radio Output… → fill in your server + pick a codec (MP3/Opus/Vorbis) → OK.
• View → Docks → Radio Output → Start. Status should go Connecting → Live.
• Confirm it's playing — open http://your-host:port/your-mount in VLC.
• Bonus rounds: TLS (if your server does https), the Now Playing field, and yanking your network to watch auto-reconnect.

Reporting back: reply here with what worked, what broke, and — this is the gold — your OBS log file (Help → Log Files → Upload Current Log gives a shareable link). Windows logs especially welcome.
