How to upgrade module in odoo container using restart odoo service

i used to upgrade module in launch.json file using -u parameter and module name . in doodba how i can achieve same thing can anyone tell me.
do i have to type this everytime i want to update module docker compose run --rm odoo click-odoo-update

You can do docker compose run --rm odoo -u <module> --stop-after-init (and docker compose restart odoo if not done). We haven't experimented with launch.json, but I suppose you can automate that command inside.

If you add a field or a view, you have to run the update. Once it exists, the development parameter xml makes that you don't have to update anymore that view, as it's read directly from the XML. And any Python change with the reload option will trigger the restart of the odoo service, but 100% full automation doesn't exist, here nor any other environment I know.

How i can add upgrade command on restart odoo when i click on restart it reatart the container and i want to run an upgrade along with the restart

I made extra init container with odoo update only in case of deploy new version. Add liquibase with label db version to support this during check ininit container if update is necessary.
