Welcome to Terrastories - an open-source geostorytelling application for indigenous and other local communities to map and locate their place-based oral histories.

This wiki is the main source of documentation for developers working with (or contributing to) the Terrastories project. If this is your first time hearing about Terrastories, we recommend starting with the Terrastories website.

To learn about current open source development work or where we're headed, check out the Vision Statement and our Roadmap (updated December 2020).

As of February 2021, we now have a live (and SSL protected) multi-instance Terrastories online server up and running at http://our.terrastories.io/. If you are interested in having a community set up on this server, please contact us.
