TryCatch 0.1.2

Windows (x64 + ARM64, .msix self-signed by Testing in Production)

  1. Install trycatch-signing.cer once (double-click -> Install Certificate -> Local Machine -> Trusted People). App Installer must be enabled.
  2. Install the matching .msix for your architecture. No cert? Use the -portable.zip instead (extract & run, no install).
    SmartScreen will warn on first run (expected for self-signed).

Linux / CachyOS (AppImage + tarball)

chmod +x TryCatch-*.AppImage && ./TryCatch-*.AppImage (needs FUSE). Real serial hardware: sudo usermod -aG uucp $USER (log out/in); optional udev rules file included.

macOS (arm64 DMG, ad-hoc signed - no Apple account)

Open the DMG, drag to Applications, first launch via Right-click -> Open. Intel Macs run through Rosetta.

Caveats

  • MSIX publisher must stay CN=Testing in Production; the wire format + command bytes are placeholders (see README).
  • This release attaches every platform that built successfully. If a file above is missing, that builder failed - check the workflow run.
  • Verify integrity with SHA256SUMS.txt.
