Datatable should use all available space

Hello,

i have the following problem that i want my datatable to use all the available space inside its container. So here also the blue space. Is there an option that i missed?

Furthermore is it possible that the columns are evenly distributed over the whole width? I do not like the empty lines on the right of it.

Any help or hints are appreciated.

Set the height of your DataTable to 1fr. And update Textual to the latest version.

Hi, tank you very much.
The height to 1fr worked for me!
However the evenly splitting of the columns does not work.
Is it a flag or a property which i can update?
(I am using python 3.13 and textual 8.2.6)

The DataTable doesn't support this functionality. But you can manually set the width of columns.
