For now, I'm using an updated fork of the library (https://github.com/keiji/JP2ForAndroid). It's working fine as well as supports 16 KB Memory Page Size Android Policy Compliance.

I just replaced:

implementation 'com.github.Tgo1014:JP2ForAndroid:1.0.4'

with:

implementation 'dev.keiji.jp2:jp2-android:1.0.5'
