Reset (Clear Personalized Info) on Wemo Switch F7C027

Thanks for the cool GUI tool!

However, when I try to do a Reset (Clear Personalized Info) on Wemo Switch F7C027, the log window reports me selecting the device, then asks for my confirmation of the reset stating it cannot be undone. When I press OK, nothing happens anymore: No log updates, no reset, no details on what is wrong.

Anyone come across this, or had success with the reset on a F7C027 switch?

This is caused by a horribly obvious bug in the code. I pushed some code tonight in commit fb8b93e that fixed this (and improved so much more under the hood), and might have a binary out in a few days if you don't want to manually set up for running locally.

Here is a full reset working on a Smart Dimmer WDS060 with the new pushed code:

Many thanks for the info and updated code. I have tried it out. The previous faulty behaviour of no response is no longer showing.
I have tested a reset of Personalized Info, and the log shows that the reset was successful. Cool!
However, I notice that after this reset, the FriendlyName remains as it was before.
Is the friendly name meant to stay as is, or is it meant to reset to its default?
( I believe the FriendlyName is also retained when using pywemo commandline with parameters true, false - so it is not necessarily a bug. It's easy enough anyway to rename the device to whatever.)

I haven't tried a full reset yet.

You might've found a pywemo issue, I'll have to try a personalized info reset myself later. and yes, for the "Personalized Info" reset I just run a data=True, wifi=False reset

I have raised the question on the pywemo site. @Spectre5 was somewhat surprised too that the FriendlyName remains, but says he only used a full reset.

Perhaps the issue goes back to ouimeaux?

It's no big deal really, I simply to a full reset.
What confused me the most is that if the FriendlyName remains, I doubted whether all rules have been deleted, or not? I do not know an easy way to check there are no rules left on it.

The way I determined the three settings from the Belkin app was by running the commands and recording all traffic on my local network before it was cloud based. So at that time, the commands in pywemo should have been identical. It is possible that things have changed since then, or it is possible that it never reset the friendly name and I didn't notice. I've always just done a full reset and then did a resetup.

The reset and setup command are new, by me, and not legacy from ouimeaux.
