  • Completely revamped the screen system for unlimited menu levels and screen flexibility.

🔧 Improvements:

  • Refactored variables into the private section of the class for better encapsulation.
  • Improved storage handling:
    • Now uses preferences.h on ESP32.
    • Utilizes EEPROM on ESP8266.
  • Enhanced settings system to support object-based settings (booleans, options, and ranges). #12
    • Default values are supported and override changes in EEPROM.
  • Fixed main menu scrolling issues when returning from submenus.
  • Refined menu creation function to handle unlimited menu levels.
  • Removed the tft_bl argument from the menu instance, now set directly in TFT_eSPI configuration.

🐛 Bug Fixes:

  • Resolved issues with scrollbar height not adapting correctly for submenus.
  • Fixed scrolling text issues with non-black background colors.
  • Fixed an issue where long-pressing the select button returned to the first screen instead of the last.

🐞 Remaining Bugs:

  • The range and option features for settings are partially implemented and do not currently work.
