The first thing we see is a brief description in the top left. It should tell you the state and cause of death selected, as well as giving you a brief summary of the elements on the page.
Below the description, there is a map. This map displays the counties by their "risk group" (typically high, medium, or low). The map is also interactive. If you click on a county the death rates from 2000-2017 will appear as a grey line on the graph next to the map.
