"Unit under attack" alarm fires too often

#2368 fixed the distance calculations for the radar. A side effect seems to be that the "unit under attack" alarm fires significantly more often - in particular for (supply) planes, causing an overload in alarms.

Can we remove the unit under attack alert from the cargo plane?

It would be an option, but it would make it inconsistent with all other units that trigger alarms when attacked.

Units can be controlled and general promotions are called in so in both cases it is usefull to know if it is under attack or not. But a cargo plane is this one unit that spawns in every minute and knowing if it is getting attacked is not really that usefull, instead it is really annyoing to have the sound being spammed just cause of it being attacked.

This would be more of a quality of life change.

Another option, though perhaps a bit controversial, is to make SDZ cargo planes invulnerable. A few mods do this.
Pros: they won't draw fire anymore and don't trigger any alarms
Cons: players can no longer use them as meat shields for airstrikes

I think the planes should remain shootable - also because I can envision some map formats might be possible where you can deny the planes from dropping cash, e.g. if the starting positions are not at the edges of the map:
