Hey @iamAbhi-916, thanks for the update! I’ll try to review it, but since it’s a pretty large PR and there may be a lot of potential edge cases, I can’t promise I’ll be able to cover everything right away. I’ll do my best Also, did you consider adding Windows support in v7? It should be much simpler, since the new architecture is already supported there |

Thanks for the detailed context! We're aware of the active work on Windows XAML + TurboModule support with the React Native Windows team's involvement. We've noted this for the maintainers. |

What problem are you trying to solve?
The New Architecture is available in React Native Windows starting with v0.76, and the React Native Windows team (part of Microsoft) is working to ensure community modules remain compatible and can leverage the new features. With the upcoming v0.82 release, the legacy (Paper) architecture will be deprecated. Currently, react-native-video uses the Native Module system on Windows, which will not be compatible once the legacy architecture is removed.
Proposed solution
Add XAML support and upgrade the Windows implementation to a Turbo Module. Turbo Module support has been implemented in the PR. React Native Windows version has been changed to 0.82.
