Welcome to the AppyHour-client wiki!
Hello! The AppyHour project was started by the staff, mentors, and students of Thinkful Portland. It's purpose is to give students and alumni the chance to collaborate together on a project. The Appy Hour app will give users a list of places around Portland where they can get cheap food and drinks. This project is the brainchild of Robert W and is a way for Portland area Thinkful students and alumni to work together to gain experience on a side project to help build their portfolios. The stack it uses is the MERN (Mongo, Express, React, Node) stack you learn in the Flex Web Dev and Engineering Immersion curriculum. All students, alumni, and staff are welcome to contribute in big, medium or tiny ways, whatever time you can give goes a long way. This app will (hopefully) live on for eternity and future students will continue to contribute so that it stays alive and well FORVER. First, Do this right now: join the pdx-app slack group
This wiki will serve as the home base for app instructions, milestone plans, feature requests, and more.

I'll share notes here about the current progress of the site. A simple paragraph explaining where we are, where we could use help, etc. To serve as sort of a "We're here now and here's where we're going next" statement.
If you are a Portland Thinkful student, alumni, or mentor and would like to contribute, please contact alanna risse on the thinkful slack channel.
