What's Changed

  • New: CultureList has been updated to .NET 10.
    • .NET 10 is now required to run the non-self-contained versions of CultureList..
    • The self-contained versions include the .NET runtime, so they do not require .NET 10 to be installed on the system.
    • .NET 10 is a long-term support (LTS) release and will be supported until November 14, 2028.
    • Some code changes were required to take advantage of improvements in .NET 10 and C# 14.

This release includes the following dependency updates:

  • Bump Vanara.PInvoke.User32 to 5.0.4 #18
  • Bump NLog to 6.1.3 #20
  • Bump Nerdbank.GitVersioning to 3.9.50
  • Bump Material Design Themes to 5.3.2 #19

Introducing Culture List

Culture List will display a subset of the culture information found in System.Globalization.CultureInfo. I built the application to be able to quickly look up information such as date and number formats and the correct local spelling of a language name.

Features

  • Select from Specific Cultures, Neutral Cultures, or All Cultures
  • Choose to have the Display Name, the Native Name, or the English Name to display next to the Language Code.
  • Select a culture to display details. See screenshots.
  • Choose a font that works best for you.
  • Quickly filter the list.
  • Easily copy text.

Note

Only the Framework Dependent versions are available for this release. If there is interest in self-contained versions, let me know.
