Deletes all files & directories in public directory

So I made a boo-boo on my initial deployment during my configuration.
I didn't add my project directory to either the privatePath nor the publicPath -- private ended up find but the public path resulted in a deletion of all existing files and directories.

Yea that makes sense. We have to clear out the old files before installing the new ones. When I can, I'll take a look at the WP issue that kept me from keeping multiple releases in the private directory, and just symlinking to the correct release. That said, the public directory would have still be cleared out in this situation.

What do you think would help prevent this in the future? A warning that you're about to deploy to x directory and the files will be overwritten?

A Warning that the directory isn't empty would be nice.
