Features

  • Trace AI now logs real foods. Asking the AI Assistant to "add an apple to snacks" or "log Greek yogurt for breakfast" now creates a real food entry with full nutrition (protein, carbs, fat, fiber, vitamins) instead of a Quick Calories row with just kcal. Searches your local catalog first, then Open Food Facts. Custom meal layouts (renamed or reordered meals) are honored too, so "snacks" routes to the right meal even if you've moved it. (#79, reported by acaonweb)
  • Unit metadata is now opt-in. The nutrition basis, serving units, and density fields added in rc.50 are now hidden by default in the Food Editor, Add to Diary sheet, and Foods list rows. Flip Settings → Diary → "Show Unit Metadata" to bring them back. Existing rc.50 users see no change (the toggle is auto-enabled on upgrade); new installs get a cleaner default. The Food Editor still shows the fields when a food has data populated so you never lose access to your own values.

Fixes

  • Settings search now finds more diary toggles. Show Unit Metadata, Warn About Unit Conversions, Show Daily Notes, Show Quick Calories Button, Adjust Calorie Goal From Activity, and the wearable / manual entry policy were all missing from search keyword lookup. Now findable via natural terms like "unit", "density", "quick calories", "daily notes", "earn back".
