Hardware examples

TendrilGrow has no hardcoded entities — you map your own. The maintainer's reference setup is provided only as an example of what can be mapped.

Reference setup

• Two grow tents running recirculating deep water culture (RDWC):
  • Tent A: 3x3, controller, 2 sites (mothers), ~200W adjustable LED, camera.
  • Tent B: 4x4 RDWC, controller, 4 sites, ~400W adjustable LED, 4K camera.
• Controllers expose lights, fans, and inline fans (mapped as control roles).
• Reservoir water monitors exposed via the Tuya integration (pH, EC, TDS, temperature, and more), auto-mapped by TendrilGrow.
• Cameras used for AI vision health checks.

Any brand of sensor, controller, or camera works as long as it is available as a Home Assistant entity. See Configuration.
