It's possible that some computers can indeed achieve smooth scrolling.
It's unclear whether the issue is device-specific. Not sure if it's an issue with my device.
Listening with jquery. For users who cannot enable smooth scrolling this way, the listener can be removed in the widget, and smooth scrolling can be implemented via a custom widget instead.
If this method provides smooth scrolling, it's best to test it in both Firefox and Edge (Chromium), as using
scrollTofor smooth scrolling previously caused frame stuttering in Edge.
