Does tubifarry with SLSKD rate limit the automatic grabs across users to stop hammering the one or few users?

I was just wondering if there's rate limiting you can set to say only query a user or grab from a user "x" albums before putting a timeout? I noticed there seems to be the "favourite" users that get hammered with requests/grabs if I allow an automatic search after deleting corrupt music files that I am monitoring.
Rate limits would be favourable.

The main issue is that Lidarr controls what gets downloaded and prioritized. Even if a user has a preferred naming scheme or other preferences, Lidarr will override them. While Tubifarry uses its own priority system, Lidarr completely ignores it, that’s the core problem.
However, I could mitigate this by blocking a user if they exceed a threshold for either currently running downloads or daily download limits.

so you can block someones access to slskd but you have no control over which users you grab music from?

I was wondering since you can view the usernames of people you have grabbed off in lidarr, if there's a way to recognise that username and set grab limits, so if you have grabbed 3 albums from someone in the past hour/day it wont grab from them again for whatever the cooldown period is.

My issue was I deleted a heap of corrupt albums that were monitored and lidarr straight away searched for them and as slskd is the main client I use automatic searches for, it targeted the same few users for 16 albums until each user auto banned/blocked me and then I eventually got what I needed but it would be nice to not flood other users.

Yes, I see the issue. I can implement a grab limit and simply exclude any results that exceed it from the returned findings. That’s really the only workaround I can offer, since Lidarr completely ignores my priority calculations.

A grab limit per user with a cooldown period would be amazing.
That's difficult with the restrictions even with a plugin imbedded in the program.
You've done a great job with this plugin mate! Do you want me to move this to a feature request?

No, a feature request isn’t necessary for this. It should be relatively straightforward to simply exclude those results.
